The wearing of uniforms is strongly encouraged by all staff and supported by the P&C Association. Uniforms are available for order via the Flexischools app.
School Uniform Requirements
Students must wear the Rosewood State School uniform when attending school or representing the school.
Everyday Uniform
Uniform Shirt
Students wear the Rosewood State School “Kindness is the Rosewood Way” colourful uniform shirt.
This shirt reflects the school’s strong commitment to kindness, belonging and a positive school culture.
Bottoms
Students may wear:
Maroon shorts
Maroon skort
Uniform items should be:
Clean
In good condition
Of appropriate length
Free from rips or tears
Sports Uniform
The sports uniform consists of the same “Kindness is the Rosewood Way” shirt, with house team colours displayed on the sleeves.
House colours:
Currajong – Royal Blue sleeves
Brigalow – Golden Yellow sleeves
Students may wear:
Sports house shirt
Maroon School Skort
Maroon School shorts
Students not dressed appropriately may be unable to participate in sports activities.
Winter Uniform
Students may wear additional items during cooler weather:
Rosewood State School tracksuit top
Maroon tracksuit pants
Maroon stockings
Hoodies are not permitted as part of the school uniform.
Hats
Rosewood State School operates a “No Hat – No Play” policy.
Students must wear:
Maroon Rosewood State School bucket hat with logo and team colours underside
Caps are not permitted.
Students without a hat will remain in shaded or undercover areas during break times.
Footwear
Students must wear:
Enclosed black shoes or joggers
White socks
Pre-loved uniforms
Pre-loved quality uniforms are available from the school’s second hand uniform shop which is run by the school chaplain. Please contact the school office for opening times.
Lost property
All clothes should be clearly marked with your child's name to ensure lost property is returned to you. At the end of each term any unnamed lost property will be donated to charity.
